Here we are again, at the end of another year. How can it possibly be December 30th?!!! I always feel like the year has gotten away from me. I had so many hopes and dreams and aspirations for this past year and yet, feel as though I am in just about the same place I was. So I am going to go back through the year and highlighting the progress I did make:
~ We moved into a house with plans to buy it! This has been a goal of ours for years now, and while we are still working on our credit, at least we found a place that "spoke" to us and feels like home and has a lease option! Yay!
~ I ran in a 10k race! I didn't run the whole thing but I did start out running and completed the whole thing which was awesome! :-)
~I checked a few items off my bucket list! Many more to go, and am adding more all the time.
~Brent and I are working on our relationship! We've had a rough go of it and finally sought outside help. It has been an amazing experience so far and I only expect that it will keep getting better!
~I applied for school! I am going to start taking classes online and work towards my BS finally. After that I'm not sure, so many choices, I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. LOL!
~I got a little better at playing with the kiddos! I am still very much so a work-in-progress in this department but I am getting better!
~I made some new friends! Social networking has been my friend this year as it has led me to meet some great people.
~I won a few contests! I got tickets to a couple concerts/events, great time, and the only way I ever would've been able to go.
~I have a plan for next year! I have been reevaluating what went right and what went wrong this year and I think I have a pretty good gameplan for the next!
So there you have it! That is my brief review of what went right in 2010! :-) Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Bring it on 2011! I'm ready for you!
