Christmas crayons, snowmen, and cookies galore!

I love crafts, but I hate the mess! I've been trying my best to get over that part of my OCD so that the kiddos and I can have fun, you see, they love crafts too. So, even with all the chaotic holiday stuff going on, and our impending move (yes, we are crazy, more on that in another post) I've made time for us all to get creative.

We've made ornaments:

We've made cotton ball snowmen:

We've made Christmas crayons:

and, of course, we've made cookies!:

And somehow, even though I doubted it at times, I have survived all the little messes along the way! Whew!

#2 Kiddo looks like he's rather excited... almost enough to take flight. ;)

The crayons were made using silicone molds. You take old broken crayons, peel them and break them smaller if needed then fill the molds. Heat oven to 300 degrees, place mold in oven for about 10-15 mins. if needed use a toothpick or skewer to stir the melting crayons so they melt evenly. Take out and allow to cool.

Yeah, the boy was very excitable during all the crafts! lol!
