moving before Christmas...

So let me start this out by saying yes, we are a little bit crazy. That being said, we are moving before Christmas.

We had been looking off and on over the past year for a house. Our credit being less-than-stellar, has made that search extra challenging. So, we knew a lease option was our best option, if we could find someone with a house we liked who could do that with us.

Cut to a few weeks ago. P.R.E.S. (the co. Brent works for) was working on a house for a lady up in Hillsboro. Brent stopped by the jobsite to check in on the guys. As he was walking around the house he started to realize he really liked what he saw. On a whim he asked the owner what her plans were for the house. She had lived there previously and had most recently been renting it out. Her immediate plans were to clean it up, do some minor repairs on it, and rent it again. She hoped to get around to selling it sometime in the next couple years.

*LIGHTBULB*

Brent gets an idea. "Would you be interested in doing a lease-option?" She agreed that would be lovely See, she really liked Brent having worked with him and the co. on a few other projects prior to this one.

Brent took me out to see the place, I too fell in love with it, and well, now we're moving.
