Day 19- What do you think of religion, or politics?
I have issues with both. Religion has become an excuse for so many people to not behave well towards one another. Same with politics. When it comes to either all I keep hearing in my head is Rodney King's voice: "can't we all just get along?!"

Well, I certainly think they're two separate things, regardless of common opinion. Obviously if you are a person of faith, that is going to inform your political views (how could it not?) but a political view should never be equated with being a good Christian, and I hate that that is what has happened for the most part in our country. I do lean conservative, but I'm so glad I have friends and family that are Democrats--it makes it harder to demonize those darn liberals when some of them are people you love. :)
Religion? I really miss when I had it all figured out (she says, with tongue firmly planted in cheek). Most of my life I've been pretty confident in my version of what's right, and that has all been falling apart for me lately. I think it's going to be a good thing for me in the long run, but it sure is messy now.
