So what once was a one-income household, is now a no income household. Hubs lost his job today. The co. he worked for hasn't been holding it together so great as of late and his boss felt it was best to lay him off now.
I am asking for your positive thoughts and prayers as we figure out what this means for our family, there are many things to look at and consider.
Our first thought and goal is to get our own contractors license and start up our own company. Brent has the skills and knowledge to do everything and we've tossed the idea around for some time. This lay off kind of feels to us both like a not-so-gentle push from the universe to do it.
Wish us luck as we enter a new phase in our lives.

Helen, We are doing good. Yes we did start our own company. Business is starting to pick up and hopefully it won't be too much longer that we can start breathing some sighs of relief as we get a financial buffer again. :-)
